Act2PV kicked off its summer season in grand style, raising a significant sum towards their elevator installation project and igniting the excitement for a season packed with entertainment.
“TONY Award Vallarta-Chic” Gala Makes a Splash:
The “TONY Award Vallarta-Chic” Gala that was held on June 16th proved to be a resounding success. Hosted by the charismatic “Liberace” (David Maiocco), the event not only celebrated the grand opening of Mary Ann’s Ovations Piano Bar but also surpassed expectations by raising over $8,000 USD for the crucial elevator installation project.
With a goal of $20,000 USD, the elevator project will provide for improved accessibility within the venue. In a press release Act2PV expresses its deepest gratitude to Casa Karma, Unique ATV Tours, Cassandra Shaw Jewelry, Tom Bernes, and Mary Ann Renaldue for their generous auction donations that significantly contributed to the fundraising success.

“Greatest Show on Earth” Lights Up the Stage:
The momentum continued with the opening night of Act2PV’s popular “Greatest Show on Earth” series. David Sabella, Act2PV’s new General Manager, hosted the event, which saw a packed house enjoying a diverse lineup of 10 talented Puerto Vallarta performers. A highlight of the evening was a unique piano mashup performed by David Maiocco and David Sabella, leaving the audience wanting more.
The 10 performers included included Stephanie Wright Watts, Steven Retchless, Gabriela Heart, Yutzil Mar, Montse SD, Sargento Dan, Gloria Fiona, Reina Elizabeth, Sarah Joy Heckbert, and Cate Valcic (producer of the show).
Summer Packed with Entertainment:
Act2PV is thrilled to showcase the talents of Vallarta entertainers every week and is excited to welcome the great pianist David Maiocco, who will be performing at Act2PV several times a week during July and August this year. Rumor has it he will also be hosting a new cabaret show at Act2 called “Liberaunchy” in the upcoming season!
