Travvy Awards Name Puerto Vallarta Best in Four Areas

The 10th annual Travvy Awards, which took place at Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, have named Puerto Vallarta the “best of” in four categories.

The Travvy Awards, a travel industry award program, names the best in the travel industry in the United States and Canada.

Best Destination in Mexico
Best Gastronomic Destination in Mexico
Best Honeymoon Destination in Mexico
Best Tourism Office in Mexico

It is the third consecutive year that the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust has been awarded as the best tourism office in Mexico. These awards are the highest recognition in the United States travel industry and reflect excellence at an international level, honoring the best in the tourism field.

“These awards are a testament to the excellence and versatility that it has as a tourist destination. Puerto Vallarta continues to captivate travelers and industry professionals alike with its varied cultural and entertainment options, rich culinary scene and romantic atmosphere ideal for weddings and honeymoons on the beach,” said Luis Villaseñor, of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, upon receiving the awards on behalf of the destination.

Awarded by TravelPulse and AGENTatHOME, the Travvy Awards recognize the industry’s leading suppliers: destinations, hotels, cruise lines, airlines and tour operators, among others. The editorial teams of these publications decide the nominees and their audience of travel advisors votes to choose the winners.

In 2023 Puerto Vallarta won five awards; In 2022 they also brought home five awards, continuously reflecting the hard work of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust team.
