The Tryst Puerto Vallarta, a LGBTIQ+ luxury resort, has announced its program for Semana Santa and Pride Week, offering drag brunches, rooftop pool parties, and celebrations in the heart of Zona Romántica.
Semana Santa Weekend (April 2 – 5, 2026)
“The Tryst is serving a holy weekend of very unholy fun,” read a recent press release.
From rooftop tea dances to the legendary Wettest Drag Brunch in the World, the hotel will host a full weekend of music and poolside glamour:
- Saturday, April 4 – Tryst Tea Dance: Dance the afternoon away with panoramic rooftop views, signature cocktails, and live DJs spinning afro-house beats as the sun sets over the Pacific.
- Sunday, April 5 – Eva Blunt Drag Brunch + Pool Party: The Wettest Drag Brunch in the World returns featuring bottomless mimosas, Tryst Pinky Shots, and outrageous performances by Drag Race Mexico superstar Eva Blunt and Amalara Sofia from The Tryst San Juan. Afterward, the celebration moves upstairs for the iconic Sunday Rooftop Pool Party, featuring go-go dancers, DJ Evan Blunt, and non-stop energy.

Pride at The Tryst Puerto Vallarta (May 17 – May 25, 2026)
The Tryst will transform into a ultimate venue for Vallarta Pride, hosting gay gatherings, fierce competitions and high-fashion poolside celebrations:
- Tuesday, May 19 – Out & About PV Gay+ Mixer: Kick off Pride Week at 6 p.m. with cocktails, fun and networking alongside the members of the local LGBTQ+ community. Hosted by Out & About PV magazine and the Facebook group “Puerto Vallarta Gays: Everything You Need or Want to Know,” the mixer is a great occasion to meet new people and create business opportunities.
- Friday, May 22 – Drag Derby: One of Pride Week’s most outrageous spectacles returns to Púlpito Street. A fearless lineup of queens will tackle a fabulous obstacle course packed with stunts and over-the-top performances. The chaos will be judged by Tryst founder Tristan Schukraft alongside drag icons Jorgeous and Lushious Massacre, followed by a rooftop after-party at the hotel.
- Saturday, May 23 – Pride Tryst Tea: DJs Berri and Jae Fusz take over the decks while Tryst’s iconic go-go dancers bring the rooftop pool to life.
- Sunday, May 24 – Pride Drag Brunch & Rooftop Pool Party: Special guest Jorgeous from RuPaul’s Drag Raceheadlines the brunch before the party spills onto the rooftop. Hosted by Lushious Massacre, the afternoon features DJ Mascfish, Jae Fusz, and signature Tryst poolside glamour.
