Puerto Vallarta is in the Top 10 of the safest places in Mexico

Following a survey conducted by INEGI, Puerto Vallarta enters the top 10 for security in Mexico. Thus, Puerto Vallarta is a safe place and has a good perception for both tourists and locals.

Just a few weeks ago, the Secretary of the Navy, the Government of the State of Jalisco and the municipality of Puerto Vallarta, signed a coordination and collaboration agreement, which will allow establishing joint actions in matters of public safety, for which the SEMAR will maintain effective presence by carrying out operations to increase the confidence of visitors and citizens in this destination.

Puerto Vallarta has different instances that help precisely in various cases. For example, there are “pink patrols” that attend to reports of violence against women. Although they also help with intra-family aggressions.

There are also the “green” units that focus on environmental and animal protection issues.

In addition to having a liaison office with the community and expatriates and an office specialized in serving the LGBTQ + community (located in the pink zone). Additionally, it has 12 customer service modules with trained bilingual staff.

The entire tourist strip from north to south has a large team of tourist police. Trained to assist travelers regarding adverse situations or their doubts at the destination. Which will make the visit to Puerto Vallarta more pleasant and safe.

Vaccination in Puerto Vallarta is progressing positively, beginning this Friday with the inoculation of adults over 18 years of age in which up to 64,400 doses will be applied, with this action practically the entire adult population of the tourist destination will be vaccinated.
