As more U.S. and Canadian patients travel to Mexico for dental implants, Esthetic Dentistry Puerto Vallarta has released a detailed pricing guide designed to help patients better understand the full cost of implant treatment before choosing a provider.

The guide, which was announced in a press release, comes as demand for dental implants continues to grow and dental tourism remains a significant segment of Mexico’s health care industry. According to market research cited by the clinic, dental implants account for about 44% of Mexico’s dental tourism revenue.

The clinic said many advertised prices for full-arch implant procedures often include only implant placement and temporary teeth, while additional services such as tooth extractions, bone grafting, sinus lifts and permanent prostheses may be billed separately.

“Our goal is to help patients understand exactly what is included in a treatment plan before they commit,” said Dr. Fidel Abrego, clinical director of Esthetic Dentistry Puerto Vallarta. “Patients deserve a clear explanation of the procedures involved and any additional steps that may be required.”

The guide explains several full-mouth restoration options, including All-on-4 and All-on-6 implant systems, as well as zygomatic implants for patients with significant bone loss in the upper jaw. It also outlines how treatment costs can vary depending on the implant manufacturer, prosthetic materials and whether additional surgical procedures are required.

According to the clinic, a standard dental implant in Mexico typically costs between $850 and $2,000, compared with approximately $3,000 to $6,000 in the United States. Bone grafting generally ranges from $250 to $600 per treatment area in Mexico, while sinus lift procedures typically cost between $600 and $1,200.

For patients requiring a full-arch restoration, the guide estimates that an All-on-4 procedure with an acrylic fixed prosthesis generally ranges from $7,000 to $14,000 per arch. Restorations using zirconia prostheses typically range from $10,000 to $15,000, while cases requiring zygomatic implants may cost between $12,000 and $16,000 per arch.

Patients requiring treatment on both the upper and lower arches can expect costs to vary depending on the combination of procedures and prosthetic materials used. The clinic notes that final treatment plans are determined only after a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.

The guide also encourages international patients to consider travel expenses, including airfare, accommodations and meals, when comparing treatment costs abroad.

Because implant rehabilitation is typically completed over multiple visits separated by healing periods, the clinic said Puerto Vallarta’s direct air service from several U.S. and Canadian cities makes the destination convenient for international patients seeking long-term dental care.

Esthetic Dentistry Puerto Vallarta said it published the pricing guide to promote greater transparency and help prospective patients compare treatment plans based on the complete scope of care rather than advertised starting prices alone.

Esthetic Dentistry Puerto Vallarta provides restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry services for local and international patients and specializes in comprehensive treatment planning and full-mouth rehabilitation.
