The airline and tour operator Sunwing announced a new nonstop route from Victoria that will begin operations on December 10 of this year. With a weekly frequency, this flight represents an average of 700 more passengers arriving to Puerto Vallarta monthly from the capital of British Columbia.
With this addition, the Canadian airline Sunwing will fly to the Mexican destination from 10 cities next winter season: Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, Regina, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and now Victoria, offering all-inclusive vacation packages on all its routes. This is a reflection of the growing interest in visiting the Green Pearl of the Mexican Pacific in the different markets of the maple leaf country.
