Come one, come all, the magic of ThrIVe IV & MedSpa is arriving at Puerto Magico.
The well known MedSpa, which has its home base on Basilio Badillo in Zona Romantica, recently celebrated a soft opening with a second location at Puerto Magico to serve the needs of the cruise ship community as they arrive at Puerto Vallarta.
I had the pleasure of speaking with ThrIVe IV & MedSpa founder and owner Mikel Alvarez, who informed me their plan, is to offer very similar services as they have at the main location. A wide range of IV hydration is offered, as well as Botox, and injectables. An Anti-SeaSick IV is also available, a boon to anyone that has ever sailed and felt the effects of motion sickness. While the aforementioned services will be the primary focus in the beginning, later an aesthetician will be added for facials. For now, the spa is only open on days that a cruise ship is in port.
“The goal is to serve arriving cruise ship passengers as they disembark at the Port,” Alvarez explained. “Considering they have the most limited amount of time to explore Puerto Vallarta than almost any other group of tourists, the emphasis will be to triage the situation at hand, and to get each guest on their way to explore the wonders that await them on the Mexican Pacific. With this in mind, IV’s will be tailored to those with minimal time to spare. While the IV hydration at the main location on Basilio Badillo is one hour in length, the IV hydration at the Puerto Magico location will be set to a mere thirty minutes.”
At times, passengers arriving into port may face dehydration challenges, and other minor issues. Therefore, the emphasis on a safe and helpful refresh to achieve the goal of guests leaving ThrIVe IV & MedSpa Puerto Magico feeling better and ready to enjoy their short time in PV.
As an example of the limited time in port that passengers may have, recent cruise ship arrivals had ground time in Puerto Vallarta from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm; and from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, respectively. With that small amount of time to spare, ThrIVe Puerto Magico can truly make a difference in getting that golden day in PV off to an amazing start.
