A new spotlight is opening for local talent in Puerto Vallarta, as Selena Luna Productions launches “The New Voice of Vallarta,” a four-week singing competition presented by Villa Tita, set to take over the Coco Cabaret stage. The event will run for four weeks on Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m., beginning April 12, with the grand finale on May 3, 2026.
The competition features 12 talented local singers across all genres, each singer completely different from the next. Each week, they will showcase their vocal range, personal stories, and stage presence to win over the audience. Every Sunday, the public will vote for their favorites to advance through the rounds.
The ultimate winner will be crowned on May 3 and will receive a $20,000 MXN prize, generously provided by Villa Tita, a luxury resort located at the Amapas area in Zona Romántica. As well as weekly prizes provided by Hacienda San Angel.
The event will be hosted by local singer Luis Villanueva, notable for his victory in the duet category at the 2023 World Karaoke Championships.
The judging panel features a star-studded lineup including Gouda Gabor, Kevin-Anthony, Chris Lopez, Patriz, Nacho Granados, Gloria Fiona, Sargento Dan, Will Walker, Tonny Kenneth—along with more surprise guest appearances throughout the season.
The audience votes, and ultimately decides who will be The New Voice of Vallarta 2026!
