Trovasi Café, the European-style coffeehouse located in Plaza Los Mercados in Zona Romántica, has just expanded its hours, now welcoming customers from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a wide menu featuring breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Opening in February 2025, the venue has quickly climbed to the top of TripAdvisor’s local favorites. This rise is notably due to the authentic flavor of its coffee (imported from Compostela, Nayarit), which is always accompanied by a tasty biscotti, the consistent quality of its food, and its charming, classic-look indoor/outdoor spaces that offer great comfort.
A Menu of Favorites
The café’s name is a version of the Italian word “Trovare” which means “to find.” Some of its breakfast favorites include poached eggs, sweet and savory toasts, and the signature Trovasi Breakfast (two scrambled eggs with cream cheese, accompanied by potato gratin, toast, and a side of bacon).
Other dishes also available for lunch and dinner include fresh salads, quiches, bagels, sandwiches, and tapas like caviar and bruschetta. For those who love sweets, Trovasi’s homemade tiramisu and chocolate truffle are a must-try.
Happy Hour Specials
The venue offers half-price drinks twice a day:
- 7:30 – 11 a.m. (Mimosas and Bellinis)
- 3 – 6 p.m. (Prosecco Spritz Cocktails)
Note: These specials are valid with any appetizer, entrée, or dessert purchase.
Amigos Trovasi Membership
Owner Gregory Moesser, originally from Los Angeles, also announced the venue’s special “Amigos Trovasi” membership for locals and permanent residents. Members can enjoy a 20% discount on any purchase. Registration for this program is available on site filling a short form.
Additionally, local performers (including singers, dancers, actors, musicians, models and entertainers) can take advantage of a special 50% off membership valid through December 30, 2025, in purchases from 3 to 9 p.m. Important: This promotion does not apply to any wine, prosecco, or champagne bottles.
