A Puerto Vallarta Christmas beach holiday tradition continues to bring smiles to hundreds of children on Christmas morning.
For 23 consecutive years, the shores of Puerto Vallarta have witnessed a heartwarming Christmas tradition: a joyous toy giveaway on the beach held in front of Blue Chairs Bar, Restaurant, and Hotel. This annual event, born from the generosity of David H. Currier and Kevin Kalley, over two decades ago, have brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of children.
What began as a small initiative has blossomed into a beloved community gathering. Children eagerly select their Christmas presents. This year, hundreds of children experienced the magic of this special day, thanks to the tireless efforts of organizers Nancy Plantz and Cheryl Nygaard.
Beyond the gifts, this event fosters a strong sense of community, and amidst the Puerto Vallarta beach backdrop, this tradition serves as a powerful reminder of the true spirit of Christmas: kindness, generosity, and the joy of giving back.
