The Chicken Coop Hatched by Awaysis and Whiskey Kitchen

Awaysis, a popular nightlife and live music venue in Puerto Vallarta, has announced a partnership with Gina Hendrix, owner of the Whiskey Kitchen, which will bring Whiskey Kitchen’s popular fried chicken to Awaysis.

This collaboration will introduce “The Chicken Coop,” a brand-new restaurant concept that promises to bring a unique culinary twist to the local scene and will open on Oct. 15 when Awaysis reopends for the new season.

Under this new partnership, Whiskey Kitchen will take over the restaurant operations at Awaysis, transforming it into The Chicken Coop. Known for its hearty flavors and creative Southern-inspired dishes.

The Chicken Coop will bring that spirit to Awaysis, offering guests a new menu unlike anything else in town. Get ready for fried chicken hot dogs and redneck taquitos – a playful yet mouthwatering take on classic comfort foods.

The Chicken Coop will also feature some of the Awaysis food favorites on its new menu, preserving the cherished tastes that patrons have come to love.

Awaysis will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight, Tuesday through Sunday, offering a full bar and live entertainment. The Chicken Coop will operate within these hours, serving a “Redneck Brunch” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and lunch/dinner from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Both will be closed on Mondays.

Gina Hendrix expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are excited to bring the warmth and comfort of Whiskey Kitchen to Awaysis through The Chicken Coop. This partnership allows us to combine our strengths and offer an all-encompassing experience that includes delicious food, great drinks, and top-tier entertainment.”
