If you are an American visitor or resident in Puerto Vallarta and looking to enjoy the American holiday of Thanksgiving (always held the fourth thursday of November), there are many options available to enjoy either a lunch or dinner feast.
Frida’s Kitchen, part of Bar Frida 4.0, lead by Chef Alberto Cueva, has planned its holiday meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. For $699 pesos an all you can eat meal including the traditional turkey and ham. Reservations are required.
La Tienda Grande has a special menu planned for the day and we will share it and the price when it is ready. It was not ready when we originally published.
La Capella’s popular brunch, hosted by Louis Whitaker, will expand to Thanksgiving Day and offer some traditional Thanksgiving options. It’s $599 Pesos with one seating from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Louis will host this event and promises some Thanksgiving surprises. Reservations through What’sApp. The event was filling up and you may have to get on a waiting list.
Casa Cupula Thanksgiving, hosted by the popular event planner Lalo, will have it’s Bistro Casa Cupula open and have a buffet dinner and live entertainment by C-Pher Drag from La Más Draga Show, joined by their house drag show Deborah Chacale. The cost is $950 pesos per person and starts at 6:30 p.m. More information and tickets can be found on Event Brite.
The Swedes has planned a spectacular Thanksgiving menu with three courses for $960 pesos. Reservations are required and its open 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The special menu includes a starter of Fresh Clam Chowder, prepared with leek, celery, carrot and bacon, house seasoned croutons or Autumn salad, with mixed lettuce, green grapes, red apple, walnuts, ricotta cheese with roasted peanut vinaigrette. A Main Course (choose one) of Turkey breast stuffed with brioche bread crumble, dried fruit, almonds, leek, carrot, celery, ground cinnamon and brandy, served with pan gravy. Traditional sides include cranberries, mashed sweet potato and steamed vegetables or Premium beef filet to your liking with cabernet reduction accompanied by corn niblets sautéed with bacon and peppers, served with Chinese butter peas and a Dessert of Traditional pumpkin pie with anise whipped cream and a reduced maple syrup drizzle.
Top Sky Bar at Almar Resort has planned a special Thanksgiving dinner buffet and drag show for only $950 Pesos (drinks not included). The buffet promises all of the traditional foods and the drag show will feature Ariel and Italia Limatour with music by Diego Gonzalez. The buffet opens at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Reservations via open table or by thetopmanager@almarrestor.com
Awaysis, a new restaurant and bar, has planned its Thanksgiving Day feast for $400 pesos (the price on their flyer is incorrect and we’ve confirmed with their owner that the price is $400 pesos) per person with a live soloist saxophonist and violinist as entertainment. Seatings are at 2 and 5 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by emailing the owner at Gavin@awaysis.mx. The menu includes traditional fares such as turkey, mashed potatoes, pie and much more.
The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta is offering a special buffet dinner with a great variety of dishes for $940 pesos (drinks are not included) and for children (5 to 12-years-old) the price if $450. Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa invites you to celebrate Thanksgiving with them in their La Estancia Restaurant from 6 to 10 p.m. with a special buffet. Adults are $1,100 pesos and children are $550 pesos. Reservations are accepted at 322 226 0000.

Azafran has planned a special three course menu for the evening for $649 pesos per person. This will be the only menu available on Thanksgiving Day. The menu includes Potato Mushroom Cream Soup or Filled Figs with Goat Cheese and Pear served on Arugula Salad. Daiquiri Dicks on the Beach is offering a Thanksgiving menu for $795 pesos from 4 to 11 p.m.
Layla’s Restaurante PV is offering a dinner for $750 pesos (drinks not included) from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. Located in 5 de Decembre, the dinner will have live music with 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐳𝐦𝐚 and include traditional food and some variations of some Mexican food. Reservations via what’s app at 𝟑𝟐𝟐 𝟐𝟐𝟐 𝟐𝟒𝟑6.

Enjoy dinner at Qulture with a traditional or vegan Thanksgiving Dinner. They have seatings at 5 and 7 p.m. and you can make reservations at +52 322 688 6944. The three course dinner is $490 pesos and includes a glass of wine.
Whiskey Kitchen will have two seatings for Thanksgiving. One is from 3 to 4 p.m. and the other 7 to 8 p.m. The price for the buffet is $375 pesos and includes IVA but does not include tips.
