Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Week: This festival celebrates the culinary scene in Puerto Vallarta. Taking place May 15th to June 10th. Lesbian Pride 2023: Kicking off the summer of 2023 with amazing activities is the 5th annual “Lesbian Fest” which runs from May 22nd to May 29th. Super fun events such as Canopy River Ziplining, Speed Dating, Drag Shows, a Shopping Tour, a Taco Tasting Tour, Mexican Cooking Class, Beach Volleyball and the famous Black & White Attire Party are only some of the activities planned. This aint your grandmas Lesbian Fest (unless you brought your grandma). Vallarta Pride 2023: Pride runs from May 19 to May 28, 2023. Puerto Vallarta is a popular destination for the LGBTQIA+ community, and the city’s annual Pride celebration is a highlight of the summer season. Many events take place in the Romantic Zone, such as the iconic parade, but check the schedule here outandaboutpv.com for a variety of activities, including dance parties, contests, and cultural events. Visitors can also enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife, which is especially lively during Pride. Vallarta Pride has also released a series of videos with the theme “be proud of your nature” that includes local LGBTQIA+ stories.

Puerto Vallarta Mariachi Festival: This festival runs from June 27th to July 1st, 2023 in the Old Town area. It celebrates traditional Mexican mariachi music and culture with performances, dance events, and cultural displays. The festival is dedicated to the mariachi culture, in favor of Mexican roots, the education and the professionalization of the new generations of musicians.
Workshops, conferences and shows are part of the general program of Al calor del mariachi, Summer Festival at the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort and the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. The educational program will include three consecutive days of professional workshops and master classes for mariachi (intermediate and advanced levels) by Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán and the General Director, Ángel Martínez.
The Grand Public Concert will be at the Los Arcos outdoor theatre on the Malecon and the Grand Concert of the Mariachi Femenil Nuevo Tecalitlan at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.
