The Puerto Vallarta Sexual Diversity Subdirectorate, led by Carlos Plascencia, is inviting business owners and community members to a preliminary meeting to establish a new business council.
The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration, address shared challenges, and contribute to the development of the Romantic Zone and the broader Puerto Vallarta area. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, at 6 p.m. at the Donner & Associates real estate offices, located at 120 Insurgentes in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood.
Organizers said this initial meeting will serve as an open forum to identify priorities, share ideas, and establish a roadmap for creating a business council with clear goals and actionable steps. A networking session will follow, allowing attendees to build connections and exchange experiences.
The event follows a dialogue session also organized by the subdirectorate on June 30 at Daiquiri Dick’s on the Beach. That meeting brought together local business owners and authorities to discuss issues such as poor garbage collection and drainage services in the Romantic Zone. Organizers hope the creation of the business council will allow the community to effectively address these challenges.
