Chef Claudia Sandoval was in Puerto Vallarta this week. The season 6 winner of MasterChef USA and now a judge on the new MasterChef Latino visited Vallarta Nayarit Gastonómica, the 10th annual event held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Nuevo Vallarta that brings together over five days chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and professionals of gastronomy and tourism.
“It’s the caliber of chefs here,” she said in this exclusive interview (below). “I mean, there’s something like 34 chefs, 19 of which are Michelin starred. An incredible program, amazing demonstrations. It’s just such a phenomenal experience.”
In addition, Sandoval had nothing but compliments for this area.
“I’m in love,” she said. “I haven’t left yet, but I’m already like, when am i back?! I’d never been here and I truly cannot wait to come back.”
