A new LGBTQ+ business has arrived in Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone, offering a unique, interactive experience for on-site customization of t-shirts and other bold items featuring cheeky, unapologetic, and naughty designs.
Burly Bottom Designs will open its doors on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, inside Plaza Los Mercados (Aquiles Serdán 265, Romantic Zone).
Owners Jordan and Christopher Lee—a couple from Houston who moved to Puerto Vallarta in October 2025—welcomed O&APV staff into their shop for an early preview of the space and to experience their concept firsthand. The premises have been completely renovated, and upon entering, you immediately sense a playful atmosphere, as “sex-positive” illustrations are displayed throughout.
Jordan and Christopher guided us through the purchasing process: first, the customer selects the garment, color, and size. Options include t-shirts, tank tops, and the popular, novel “cum rags.” Next comes the selection of the design to be printed. Customers use a tablet to browse over 400 original, fun options categorized by themes like sports, phrases, fetishes, and “puppy” play.
In about 15 minutes, guided by the owners, we participated in the entire process: printing the design, applying the powder adhesive, “baking,” and heat-pressing, before finally seeing the finished product.
“Burly Bottom Designs isn’t just a shop to buy things; it’s an activity,” they emphasized.
The owners explained that the technology making this experience possible includes two printers (one for “direct to film” printing and another for sublimation), along with two heat presses that reach temperatures of up to 275°C.
In addition to the custom on-site designs, the shop stocks pre-made items including apparel, beach towels, cum rags, and zippered pouches—perfect for storing lubricant, condoms, or cockrings—as well as drawstring bags.
Origins of the Business
Burly Bottom Designs began in 2022 as an entrepreneurial venture by Jordan on Etsy, where he sold patches featuring his “light-licensed” character designs. His interest in creating a “dirtier” line led to the birth of the brand.
“I’ve drawn and painted my whole life, and creating this brand has allowed me to express and rediscover my sexuality. We are a very sex-positive couple and business, and when we decided to move to Puerto Vallarta, we knew it would be the ideal place for a business like this. We invite the community to visit us and live the experience for themselves,” Jordan said.
