A LGBTQI+ “town hall meeting” will be held for U.S. citizens by the U.S. Consulate at ACT2PV theater on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024 at 4 p.m.
The meeting will cover LGBTQI+ focused issues and concerns and include information for U.S. Citizens on what to do in a emergency, contacts at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate, passport issues, how to vote, U.S. Social Security and information on human trafficking.
A post on the ACT2PV Facebook page announced the meeting, writing, “Calling All LGBTQI+ Community Members! Join us for an open Town Hall hosted by the U.S. Consulate on Wednesday, September 25, at 4:00 PM at Act2PV! This is a great opportunity to come together, discuss important topics that matter to YOU, and have your voice heard. No cost, no reservations needed—just come as you are! Seating is limited, so arrive early to grab your spot. We can’t wait to see you there!”
