Well-known local producer, host and dancer Lalo Gil held the grand opening of his new business, EGGSBOYFRIEND, on the morning of Monday, March 30, 2026. Located at Francisco I. Madero 340 in Zona Romántica, the breakfast and brunch restaurant specializes in egg sandwiches served on brioche-style bread.
In addition to sandwiches, EGGSBOYFRIEND offers other specialties such as their popular and unique pancake tacos and French toast. The drink menu features fruit smoothies, Chiapas coffee, fresh juices, and chai and matcha teas. The restaurant boasts a spacious interior for diners to settle in, as well as two charming small tables outside for those who prefer to enjoy their breakfast al fresco.
During the opening, an enthusiastic Lalo Gil expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
