The hotel is spearheaded by hospitality entrepreneur and visionary Tristan Schukraft, who is known as the “CEO of Everything Gay”. Schukraft curated the grand opening weekend as part of his vision for the Tryst Hotel chain, which includes The Tryst San Juan and a planned location on Fire Island. He created the brand based on his personal experiences traveling, aiming to establish spaces where luxury and identity can flourish without compromise for the LGBTQ+ community.

Located at Púlpito 138, the hotel provides a five-star experience catering to gay travelers. It features 53 guest rooms with a minimal, modern Mexican design by Estudio Esterlina.
