Puerto Vallarta’s LGBTQ+ Community came together on Sunday, June 7, 2009 for a march to celebrate pride and diversity, reaffirming its commitment to inclusion and respect in Vallarta.

The march was a celebration of identity and sexual diversity and included slogans like “Banquetera, unite!”.

Despite the intense heat present that day, the participants enjoyed a parade full of color with rainbow flags, that toured the tourist area, the Malecón and downtown Puerto Vallarta.

This pride march, which was part of activities to celebrate and demand the LGBT community, had the support of businessmen, NGOs focused on health and the fight against AIDS, as well as educational institutions in the city, culminating in an event full of pride and joy.
