Locals and tourists enjoyed an exciting show featuring 22 local and regional DJs.
The Malecón Lighthouse served as the venue for the seventh edition of the DJ’s Day Festival. Held on the afternoon of Sunday, April 5, 2026, the event brought together 22 local and regional DJs who delivered a musical performance that drew hundreds of residents and visitors alike.
The festival established itself as a family-friendly space, promoting healthy social interaction, family unity, and the enjoyment of music as a positive recreational alternative. The event’s primary goal was to promote young local talent, providing a platform for emerging artists to share their creativity and passion with the community.
The organizing committee—led by Diego Hurtado, Alonso Curiel, and Marco Rojas—expressed their gratitude for the support and backing of the Municipal Government, headed by Mayor Luis Ernesto Munguía González. The event was made possible through the Subdirectorate for Addiction Prevention, the Youth Directorate, and the Vallarta Institute of Culture.
Among the highlights, a young rapper delivered a message of awareness regarding the importance of preventing substance abuse, reinforcing local prevention efforts. The event also featured an emotional ceremony presenting awards to veteran DJs with distinguished careers, including Memo Zarr, Marco Rojas, Hoolio Kmacho, and Lupe Barragán.
