On the night of Thursday, May 14, 2026, Puerto Vallarta’s kink and leather community gathered at the Playroom video game bar (Venustiano Carranza 370, Zona Romántica) to support and bid farewell to Keith Ramsey, Mr. Leather Vallarta 2025. Keith is preparing to depart for International Mr. Leather (IML) 2026, the world’s most prestigious fetish and leather competition, held in Chicago from May 21 to 25.
Keith, also known as “Daddy Keith,” has been a full-time resident of Puerto Vallarta for a year. He earned his spot in the international contest during Leather Fever 2025 last November. At the global event, he won’t just be representing the local community, Playroom, and STUDS (the venues supporting him); he will represent all of Mexico as the nation’s sole representative.
The event at Playroom was hosted by local drag queen Tia Gloria and featured a raffle with prizes courtesy of STUDS, along with “Daddy Keith” branded pins. During the gathering, Keith showcased his preparation for the competition by debuting leather outfits recently acquired in Mexico City, where he spent time connecting with the capital’s kink and leather scenes.
To sharpen his skills, Keith also underwent a timed Q&A session led by members of the leather community who have served as judges in similar competitions.
Solidarity and Pride
In a moving gesture of support, Playroom and the Master Ursus Regnans community network presented Keith with a donation of $10,000 pesos to assist with his travel and preparation expenses.
Keith closed his speech for the evening by expressing his immense pride in representing Mexico. He ended with a definitive statement, quoting the legendary singer Chavela Vargas: “Mexicans are born wherever the hell we want.”
