In just one year, The Banana Factory has positioned itself as one of the favorite nightlife destinations in Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romantica, drawing crowds with its friendly, inclusive LGBTQ+ atmosphere.
The venue, located at Lázaro Cárdenas 341, recently celebrated its first anniversary, marking 12 months of themed parties, handcrafted cocktails, and what it bills as “the largest happy hour in town.” The bar features two-for-one drink specials Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Beyond the daily drink deals, the venue hosts a diverse lineup of weekly entertainment. Mondays at 9 p.m. kick off with “Money Ball Karaoke” hosted by Angie Star, who returns on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. for “Comedy Drag Karaoke.” Weekend highlights include Saturday afternoon bingo with Bingo Bitch at 12 p.m., and the popular “Cowboy Night” featuring DJ music and no cover charge on the last Saturday of every month.
The clientele can also dine at The Grill by Banana Factory, an on-site kitchen serving specialized burgers like the BLT Smash, Buffalo Chicken, and the Sexy Cowboy, open from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday through Sunday. The venue’s bar maintains late-night hours, operating from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and opening early at 11 a.m. until 4 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
