VallartaCalendar.com, the events listing platform used by Out & About PV magazine, is transitioning to a new system under the name ShowMePV.com, introducing a faster, more robust platform with expanded features for users, businesses and entertainers.
The move represents a full rebuild rather than a simple rebrand. All existing pages will automatically redirect to ShowMePV.com, allowing users to continue accessing event listings, nightlife options and local business information without disruption.
The new platform has been developed with an emphasis on speed and reliability, reducing dependence on third-party tools that can slow performance. The result is a more responsive experience, particularly for mobile users, who account for a significant share of traffic.
“ShowMePV.com is really about creating a faster, more useful platform for the community,” said Kevin Feltner. “We wanted to improve how people discover events while also giving businesses and entertainers better tools to manage and promote what they’re doing.”
Among the new features is a deals section highlighting promotions such as happy hours and dining specials across Puerto Vallarta. The platform is also expected to introduce integrated ticketing, allowing users to purchase admission to events directly through the site.
The transition includes enhanced tools for entertainers, providing greater control over how they are connected to events and presented to audiences. Business owners will be able to update listings more easily and submit events through streamlined management tools.
For Out & About PV, which relies on the platform as a key calendar resource, the transition is expected to improve the speed, accuracy and usability of event information available to readers.
The upgrade reflects a broader effort to modernize how events and experiences are discovered in Puerto Vallarta, combining improved performance with new services in a single, centralized platform.
