Puerto Vallarta reinforced its position as a leading inclusive and high-end destination at the recent Proud Experiences by ILTM North America event, held on October 6, 2025, at the Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas. By participating in this elite gathering, the city’s Tourism Board didn’t just attend an event—it strengthened the strategy driving its success within the global LGBTQ+ luxury travel market.
The event, organized by the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), is an invitation-only global collection that connects pre-qualified luxury travel advisors with top-tier suppliers. Over the course of the conference, Puerto Vallarta secured 60 one-on-one appointments with specialized buyers, tour operators, travel agencies, and representatives of international brands.
