Event Raises $15,000 Pesos For New Gay+ Community Center
We have photos from the Pride Gay Mixer at The Swedes Restaurant and Bar, which drew a large crowd (our biggest crowd at any of our mixers) who enjoyed a great time and supported a great cause.
It was part of the monthly gay mixer series held by Out and About PV Magazine and the Facebook group “Puerto Vallarta Gays: Everything You Need or Want to Know”.
More than 250 people attended the pride mixer and they enjoyed $60 pesos Pink Cosmos (A Swedes speciality), and some delicious bites of some of The Swedes most popular dishes.
More importantly the event helped raise $15,000 pesos for the newly established Vallarta Gay+ Community Center. Gay Mixer attendees were able to donate $500 pesos and receive a 20% discount card for The Swedes that is valid all summer.
