Taniel Chemsian Properties has announced the return of the House Hunters International Charity Theme Party, taking place Saturday, November 29, from 7 to 10 p.m. at The River Café, located on the Cuale River island in Zona Romántica.
This will be the fifth edition of the popular fundraiser, which was last held in 2018 as the “Disco Ball” night at Oscar’s Restaurant. Following editions were paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its repercussions.
Benefiting Fundación Andrea 321 A.C.
This year, the event will benefit Fundación Andrea 321 A.C., an organization dedicated to the well-being and development of children and youth with Down Syndrome from low-income families through a scholarship program. The organization became an official civil association in 2020 and is supported by the Centro de Enseñanza y Aprendizaje Activo A.C. and the Clínica de Rehabilitación Infantil Especializada to make its goal possible.
Broker Taniel Chemsian and House Hunters International are excited to resume the event and continue giving back to the Puerto Vallarta community.
“Raising kids with special needs is very challenging, and we are happy to dedicate the event to Fundación Andrea. Unlike past editions, this time we are only benefiting one non-profit organization so they can receive more substantial financial support from ticket sales,” Chemsian noted.
Get Ready for “80’s Flashback Glamorama”
The charity party theme is “80’s Flashback Glamorama,” inviting attendees to raid the back of their closet, dust off those shoulder pads, and get ready to party like it’s 1985.
“Think teased hair that could double as an architectural wonder (Aquanet will be your best friend), neon fuchsia that can be seen from space, ripped denim, and enough sequins to blind your neighbors. The bigger, louder, and bolder your look, the better. (And yes, leg warmers absolutely count as formal wear),” reads the invitation.
The event will feature music by a special DJ and impersonators of favorite artists from that time, including Freddie Mercury, Tina Turner, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, and Boy George. After dinner, attendees will be able to participate in a raffle with prizes provided by local businesses, including gift certificates, yoga classes, and free accommodations.
The relationship between Chemsian and the tv show House Hunters International began more than a decade ago. In January 2012, Taniel filmed his first episode as a host (airing on the HGTV USA network on April 6, 2012). Since then, he has filmed more than 30 episodes, becoming one of the show’s most popular realtor hosts. The program frequently showcases Puerto Vallarta, highlighting its cost of living and overall livability.
Tickets and Admission
Admission to the event is $2,200 MXN and includes a three-course dinner and drinks. Seating is limited, so secure your tickets soon! They are available for purchase at Taniel Chemsian Properties (Calle Púlpito 242, Col. Amapas), on the south side of the Romantic Zone.
