Blondies, the popular gay-owned Zona Romántica bars, have introduced a daily happy hour designed to help visitors and locals escape the heat this summer.
Blondies, located at Pulpito 115, and its sister location, Los Otros Blondies, at Basilio Badillo 258, are holding the drink specials from 4 to 6 p.m. every day. The promotional pricing features beers for $40 pesos and frozen slushie cocktails for $130 pesos. The bars offer a wide selection of slushie flavors, made with fresh fruit and top shelf spirits.
The locations provide different environments. The original Pulpito street location features a two-story setup with a downstairs slushbar and an upscale loft lounge on the second floor. For its part, Los Otros Blondies location features an outdoor space in one of the most emblematic streets of Zona Romántica and an spacious indoor area that now enjoys AC for clients to cool off the coastal heat.
Beyond its beverage menu, the Blondies brand has expanded into retail. The business operates the Blondies Design Studio, where a local team designs and prints clothing. The locally made apparel line, which includes custom t-shirts and brand merchandise, is available for purchase at both venues.
Whether stopping by for a frozen cocktail after a beach day or picking up locally made apparel, the two locations offer a central gathering spot. Both establishments operate daily from 11 a.m. to midnight.
