Casita & Garden is welcoming guests back for a new season filled with live music, culinary experiences, and reimagined spaces that blend artistry, community, and fine dining.
Casita & Garden will reopen its outdoor garden on Monday, Oct. 20, with a special live performance featuring Diego Guerrero, Alison Lo, and Effie Passero. The evening will mark the start of the new season. Reservations are recommended through casitagarden.com.
Over the summer, the popular Zona Romántica venue located on Naranjo 321, underwent an extensive transformation. Its newly renovated indoor area, now called Casita Cellar, has been designed as a warm and intimate space for late-night performances, full-band sessions, and after-hours concerts. The new setting aims to deepen the musical energy that has long defined Casita’s spirit.
Outside, the garden has also been thoughtfully expanded to enhance comfort and atmosphere. Additional seating and a redesigned layout now offer guests more room to dine and enjoy live performances beneath the stars. A dedicated stage anchors the outdoor area, providing an elevated setting for nightly shows and special events. Through the venue’s signature Moon Gate, visitors can move seamlessly between Casita & Garden and sister restaurant Bonito Kitchen ZR, creating a fluid connection between two distinct culinary worlds.
The restaurant will continue to host live music every evening, including the return of Artists’ Night on Wednesday, Oct. 29, a beloved local tradition that brings together Puerto Vallarta’s musicians for an improvised jam session celebrating creativity and community.
Two Culinary Worlds
This season, Casita & Garden introduces two distinct menus reflecting global influence and local flavor:
- A Japanese Menu, crafted to pair with the restaurant’s exclusive sake bar.
- An Italian Menu, featuring handmade pastas, risottos, wood-fired pizzas, and fresh salads, each reimagined with Casita’s signature style.
Wine Experiences
Casita continues to highlight Mexico’s growing wine culture with its Wine Tasting Experience, available year-round. Two new private tasting options offer guests a deeper connection to the country’s vineyards and flavors:
- Classic Mexican Wine Tasting: A guided sampling of five Mexican wines, complemented by a cheese and charcuterie board and insights into the nation’s emerging wine regions.
- Wine & Aroma Sensory Experience: A multi-sensory event beginning with an aroma workshop before a guided tasting of five wines, ending with a private cellar walk.
Reservations for both experiences can be made at casitagarden.com/wine-tasting.
The Return of Chef Roman Ventura
Casita & Garden also welcomes back Chef Roman Ventura and his acclaimed Chef’s Table series—an intimate, multi-course dining experience set beneath the moonlit garden canopy. Each evening offers a limited 20 seats and features storytelling and regional inspiration drawn from across Mexico.
Upcoming dinners include:
- Nov. 18: Celebrating La Milpa: The Three Sisters
- Dec. 10: The Season of Giving: Mexico’s Gifts to the World
- Jan. 13: Flavors of the Highlands: Aguascalientes & Zacatecas
