Just when you think you’re full from the traditional Thanksgiving dinner and can’t make room for any more, Bearsgiving Weekend rolls out. It is presented by Bearadise, organized by Christian Serrano. This follows the Brawny Bear Weekend. Keep those holiday vibes shaking until 1 December at Bearsgiving.
This annual joyful celebration aims to embrace and honor love, presence, and self-love within the bear community.

Bearadise, an event production company for the LGBTQI+ community, offers a unique opportunity for attendees to shake off the traditional Thanksgiving dinner and immerse themselves in a weekend of fun activities. From a luxurious catamaran cruise to a beach party at the exclusive Las Caletitas Beach, and with its emphasis on friendship and community, Bearadise promises a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is encouraged to embrace their true selves.
In its fifth year, Bearadise was initially known as Vallarta Bear Weekend in 2019 until 2020 when for its launch its marketing team opted for a more fitting title for an event held in a paradise, something that represented the true spirit of Puerto Vallarta and the beautiful diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. Today, embracing Bear Pride under the Bearadise umbrella, this event aims to bring love, inclusion, friendship, and body positivity through Bearsgiving on that weekend starting November 29.
Christian Serrano has long been an active member of the diverse LGBTQ+ community here in Puerto Vallarta. From owning and hosting the Gay Vallarta Bar-Hopping Tour to forming a local bear group called Vallarta Ossos to being a pioneer of the LGBTQ+ Alliance initiative, this Cancun native has spent years building a community where all are welcome, where inclusivity is the main theme, where fresh ideas are encouraged. A lover of music, photography, and travel, he wants his followers to see all that Vallarta has to offer.

“So many visit Puerto Vallarta but never leave Zona Romantica,” he shared with me the afternoon we sat down for an interview, enjoying a fresh cup of coffee. “There is much more to see beyond this neighborhood.”
And Serrano’s yearning to showcase Puerto Vallarta for all that it holds is the uniqueness behind planning Bearadise this year.
The Bearsgiving event kicks off on the 29th and continues through December 1st.On its first day at 2:30 P.M., a Love Boat, a fifty-one-foot catamaran will whisk away attendees, limited to forty, to open sea on a five-hour cruise with music, an open bar, and food on its way to the exclusive Majahuitas beach where clothing will be optional. Transportation from the Marina back to the Romantic Zone will be provided.
The following day, participants will board a double-decker party bus from a designated bar and tour the sites south of Puerto Vallarta before venturing toward areas north of the city.
And last but not least, Sunday promises a Bearadise beach party at the private Las Caletitas Beach where it all comes together. Staying true to its main themes of body positivity and embracing sexuality, the event will be clothing optional. It will be a day of soaking sun, enjoying a swim in the blue, refreshing water, and sneaking into a secret garden to be playful.
To all the free-spirited individuals seeking an unforgettable experience surrounded by camaraderie, love, and celebration of diversity, Bearadise and Brawny Bear Weekend in Puerto Vallarta are the events to look forward to this year.
