A cornerstone of the local nightlife and dining scene is marking a major milestone this summer. Bar Frida y Restaurante, located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s vibrant Zona Romántica, celebrated 25 years of continuous service on June 1, 2026.
To thank the community and welcome summer travelers, the bar has rolled out a fresh lineup of daily food and drink specials alongside a dedicated birthday celebration program.
Situated at 418 Francisco I. Madero, at the corner of Aguacate, the venue remains an accessible fixture for both long-term expatriates and visiting tourists. The establishment maintains extended hours daily, operating the bar from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., while the kitchen serves the full restaurant menu from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The restaurant’s rotating daily menu features a series of comfort food staples. Weekly highlights include fish and chips on Mondays for 235 pesos, meatloaf on Tuesdays for 235 pesos, spaghetti bolognese on Wednesdays for 235 pesos, chicken cordon bleu on Thursdays for 245 pesos, and fish/shrimp on Fridays for 255 pesos. Weekend offerings shift to premium items, featuring a ribeye steak on Saturdays for 420 pesos and barbecue ribs on Sundays for 245 pesos.
Bar Frida y Restaurante has also announced a “Mexican Style Summer Salad” menu with four distinct dishes. The selection includes Kike’s Stuffed Avocado, available with shrimp for 259 or chicken salad for 199; Tom’s Vallarta Cobb Salad priced at 259; Aaron’s Classic Caesar Salad, starting at 159 with options to add chicken (189), arrachera (199), or shrimp (215); and Randy’s Vallarta Caprese Salad, a localized twist featuring fresh artisan panela cheese for 189.

Complementing the kitchen, the bar features daily beverage discounts. Mondays offer reduced prices on well beers for 60 pesos and premium beers for 80 pesos. Tuesdays offer a 2×1 special on the house rum for 90 pesos and branded rum for 110. On Wednesdays, Bar Frida features a tiered mid-week promotion on vodka and gin paired with your choice of soda or juice: house spirits are available at two for 90 pesos, premium labels are priced at two for 110 pesos, and top-shelf options round out the special at two for 200 pesos.
Thursdays focus on the house margarita, priced at two for 120 pesos, while Fridays feature a three-for-100 pesos special on 1.5-ounce pours of Frida’s house tequila. Saturdays offer happy hour pricing throughout the entire day, followed by 70-peso Bloody Marys, Césars, and mimosas on Sundays.
For patrons celebrating a birthday, the venue has introduced a dedicated group package. Parties of four or more who reserve a table for lunch or dinner receive festive table decorations, a complimentary birthday cake, a free shot of Frida’s tequila for each guest, and a 200-peso gift certificate for the guest of honor. Reservations and 24 hours’ advance notice are required.
