This influx of tourists provides a significant boost to the local economy, highlighting the importance of tourism to Puerto Vallarta’s continued growth and prosperity.

Considering an average individual expenditure of $9,058 pesos by national tourists and $35,831 pesos by foreign visitors during their stay, it is estimated that the economic impact will be approximately $3,880 million pesos during this period of the end of the year and the beginning of the next.

“the government of Luis Munguía continues working to keep the city clean, safe, and orderly so that national and foreign tourists who arrive by air or road can enjoy their stay and return soon,” the release said.
