A new men’s only gay hostel is set to open in Puerto Vallarta on Nov. 16, 2024.
Spartacus Boutique Gay Hostel, a new accommodation designed exclusively for gay, bisexual, and gay-friendly men, where clothing is optional, announces its grand opening on November 16, 2024.

The community is invited to an exclusive preview event on Friday, November 15, from 12 pm to 2 pm. Attendees can explore the facilities and meet the team dedicated to making each stay a memorable experience.
The new hostel is in what use to be Que Bola restaurant (and before that Papa Chulo Sauna). It’s located in the Amapas/Emiliano Zapata (Zona Romantica) gay neighborhoods of Puerto Vallarta, near the iconic entrance to Playa Los Muertos. The hostel promises a unique and economical experience, combining relaxation with exclusive access to the area’s top experiences.
The 45-bed hostel features new air conditioning, ceiling fans, free WiFi, bunk beds with premium foam mattresses, electronic safety lockers, LED lighting, modern bathrooms, and blackout curtains for your privacy.
In addition, they have common areas, one that includes a big-screen smart TV with hundreds of channels—including Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, and more. A co-working area is also available for guests.
Designed for gay men over 18 who are gay, bisexual, or gay friendly, Spartacus Boutique Hostel For Men combines modern and elegant design with a welcoming atmosphere, fostering authentic connections among travelers from all over the world.
You can reserve a room here. A reservation for one bed is approximately $750 pesos per night (about $40 USD). There is a minimum two-night stay.
