Luxury Liner to Offer Breathtaking Itineraries Including Puerto Vallarta Stopover
Virgin Voyages has announced their stunning new ship, the Brilliant Lady, will be calling on Puerto Vallarta as part of its West Coast debut from Los Angeles in Spring 2026.
This luxurious vessel boasts 17 decks, 20 onboard restaurants, and modern amenities. Passengers can unwind in state-of-the-art cabins or splurge on rockstar-worthy designer suites. The Brilliant Lady’s adaptable structure allows for breathtaking voyages, including expeditions through Alaska’s glaciers and fjords.
The ship makes its grand debut in September 2025 with a New York City launch, followed by a North American tour. After navigating through bustling ports like Miami and Seattle, the Brilliant Lady will make history by crossing the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean, marking Virgin Voyages’ debut in this region.
Virgin Voyages currently operates a fleet of three ships, offering diverse itineraries.
“This ship will be brilliant in every way possible,” says Richard Branson, Virgin Voyages founder. “We’re excited to explore amazing new destinations like Puerto Vallarta.”
The Brilliant Lady will offer enticing itineraries from Los Angeles, ranging from five to eight nights. These voyages will include stops at captivating locations like Puerto Vallarta, Baja California, San Diego, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and Catalina Island.
Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages, emphasizes their commitment to innovation and creating a festival-like atmosphere for adults over 21.
Luis Villaseñor, director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, highlights the city’s “Magic Port,” offering easy access to shopping, beaches, and tours. The arrival of the Brilliant Lady adds to the growing list of luxury vessels gracing Puerto Vallarta’s bay, solidifying its position as a premier tourist destination.
