SEAPAL Vallarta (Drinking Water, Drainage, and Sewerage Service System) is moving forward with the rehabilitation of the North-Central Collector on Belice Street. Work is taking place in the section between the Luis Donaldo Colosio Libramiento and Corregidora, as well as between Belice and Héroes de la Patria streets.
As part of the construction process, a speed reducer will be installed the first weekend of October, 2025. The device will cover all four central lanes of the Libramiento, as well as the lateral lane near Belice Street. The speed reducer is expected to remain in place for one month, and drivers are urged to circulate with caution in the area.
Traffic will also be affected by intermittent closures as work begins on the first section of piping at the same intersection. From 8 p.m. on Monday, October 6, until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, the slow lane (eastbound-westbound) and the lateral lanes of the Libramiento will be closed to vehicular traffic.
SEAPAL Vallarta is asking the public to take precautions and anticipate longer travel times. The utility stresses that this is a critical project that will prevent health risks and modernize the city’s drainage system’s backbone, providing long-term benefits for all families in Puerto Vallarta.
