GUADALAJARA, Mexico – PVRPV, the city’s largest and most established vacation rental and property management company, has been recognized with one of the state’s most respected honors: the Distintivo de Responsabilidad Laboral (Labor Responsibility Distinction).

The award, granted by the Government of Jalisco through the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare, highlights companies that go above and beyond in promoting fair labor practices, ethical standards, and the well-being of their employees.

Out of more than 25,700 companies across the state, only 392 applied or qualified, and from that group, just 45 businesses earned this distinguished designation. Within that elite circle, PVRPV stands alone as the only company in the vacation rental and property management industry — and one of only two businesses in the entire hospitality sector to receive the honor this year.

On October 16th Esmeralda Jimenez, director of Human Resources & Jamie Alexander, director of Business Development, traveled to Guadalajara, Jalisco, to receive the award from the Secretary of Labor & Social Welfare, Ricardo Barbosa Ascencio.

Setting the Standard in Responsibility and Respect

For PVRPV, which has been a cornerstone of Puerto Vallarta’s hospitality community for over two decades, the recognition represents far more than a certificate or accolade. It affirms a company culture built on respect, transparency, and shared growth — values that have guided its operations since day one.

Founded more than 20 years ago, PVRPV has grown into a multifaceted organization with over 100 employees, three offices, and its own professional laundry facility that services the company’s vast portfolio of properties. Long before online rental platforms became household names, PVRPV was already connecting travelers from around the world with vacation homes across Banderas Bay.

Now, as a local leader in both service and employment practices, PVRPV’s influence reaches beyond hospitality. Its commitment to social responsibility has set a new benchmark for how businesses in Puerto Vallarta can balance growth, innovation, and human connection.

“We are honored to receive the Distintivo de Responsabilidad Laboral — an award that recognizes companies committed to ethical practices, fair treatment, and the well-being of their employees.”

“This distinction represents more than just good business — it reflects our dedication to creating a respectful, supportive, and responsible workplace where every team member is valued and empowered to thrive.”

“To our incredible employees: thank you. Your hard work, loyalty, and passion are the heart of PVRPV. This recognition is a direct result of your commitment and the trust we share as a team. We take this responsibility seriously, and we’ll continue striving to make PVRPV not only a great place to work — but a great place to grow.”

This spirit of gratitude is echoed throughout the company. Many team members have been with PVRPV for years, growing alongside the brand and helping shape its reputation for integrity and service. From housekeepers and maintenance staff to office administrators and property managers, every department contributes to a culture rooted in collaboration and respect.

“I believe we all have a social responsibility when choosing the companies we work with,” said Jamie Alexander, Director of Business Development. “When it comes to property management and vacation rentals, it’s important to support organizations like PVRPV—companies that uphold equal rights, embrace their responsibilities, and treat their employees with fairness, respect, and kindness. Our choices as consumers and partners can make a real difference.”

As someone who started as a PVRPV guest almost 15 years ago, then became a property owner working with the company, and now sits behind the desk as part of the team, moments like this make me extremely proud. It’s an incredible feeling to know I work for a company that lives by the same high standards and values I’ve admired for so many years” said Alexander.
