The Puerto Vallarta Municipal Government has released the updated trash pickup schedule, which will be resuming daily operations for most central neighborhoods such as El Centro, Emiliano Zapata, 5 de Diciembre, Fluvial Vallarta, and Marina Vallarta starting Monday, September 29. For other areas of the city like the south, the north and the Municipal delegations, recollection will continue on a three-days-a-week basis.
The recollection service is divided in morning and evening shifts, and will run as follows:
Monday to Sunday (Morning schedule)
Monday to Sunday (Night schedule)
Monday to Sunday from 6:40 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.
Monday to Sunday from 8:00 p.m. to 9:20 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 4:00 to 7:20 a.m.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:40 a.m. (Overnight service)
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:00 to 9:30 a.m.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:40 a.m. (Overnight service)
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5:00 to 9:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m.
The local authorities encourage residents to take out the garbage in the established hours to improve the efficiency of the service and the cleanliness of the city. Follow the Municipal Government Facebook page or website for more updates and news.
