One of the year’s most anticipated and exciting celebrations is just around the corner, and Puerto Vallarta’s LGBTQI+ businesses are fine-tuning the details to welcome Halloween enthusiasts and their daring costumes for a dark and memorable night this Friday, October 31, 2025.
Below, find a curated list of events taking place across the city:
Block Party Outside Anónimo and One Six One
Head to the street Halloween party taking place in front of the One Six One and Anónimo bars, on Rodolfo Gómez street in the Zona Romántica, starting at 7 PM on Friday, the 31st. The event is popular for its costume contest, with prizes of $3,000 MXN and $1,500 MXN for first and second place, respectively.
Banana Factory
The costume contest at this new bar has no cover charge and will be held on Friday, the 31st, starting at 9:00 PM. Enjoy the Banana Factory’s facilities, which include two bars and a darkroom.

$100 MXN Slushie Special at Blondie’s
All three locations of the fun Blondie’s bar have announced their Halloween special for this Friday, October 31: enjoy your favorite slushie for just $100 pesos from 7 PM to 11 PM.

Dinner and Halloween Show at Casa Cupula
Casa Cupula’s themed Halloween and Día de Muertos weekend kicks off on Thursday, October 30, with a dinner-show from 3 PM to 8 PM at the Pool Club, followed by clothing-optional parties on Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1.

Chachalaca After Dark! Halloween
This spot celebrates Halloween starting at 9:00 PM on Friday, the 31st, with a spectacular night of drag shows, drinks, and great music. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume.

Coco Cabaret
The entertainment venue presents a Halloween Themed Show on Halloween night, October 31 at 9 p.m. Enjoy this performance full of magic, and mystery. Step into the most glamorous haunted night in Puerto Vallarta, where the city’s best talent comes together for an unforgettable evening of live entertainment.

La Catrina Cantina
The live music bar has prepared a 70’s Costume Party Halloween Night this Friday, October 31, starting at 9 PM, featuring DJ Dicxo. Compete for prizes in three categories: Best Halloween Costume, Best 70’s Costume, and Best 70’s Dance.

ONIX PV Grand Halloween Opening
Come and explore Zona Romántica’s newest bar-club on its Halloween-themed opening night this Friday, October 31, starting at 7 PM. There is no cover charge, and the event will feature a costume contest with prizes, including consumption certificates. Enjoy great music, karaoke, and special-priced drinks, with performances by local singers Luis Villanueva and Tonny Kenneth.

Costume Contest at Playroom
Puerto Vallarta’s newest gaming bar will host a fun costume contest on Friday, the 31st, at 8 PM. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes in three categories: Most Original, Best Duo, and Spookiest. Participants pay a $50 pesos entry fee.
The bar is also holding a Grand Opening Week from October 28 to November 2, offering a weekly access pass for only $400 pesos.

Halloween and Día de Muertos Weekend at Studs
This bar in the Zona Romántica extends the spooky festivities all weekend, from Friday, October 31, to Sunday, November 2, from 9 PM to 4 AM. Enjoy and participate in an Epic Halloween Costume Contest with incredible prizes valued up to $10,000 MXN, along with scary themed parties and the best DJ music. Connect with the city’s sexiest crowd of bears and leather men.

The Tryst Halloween Party with AJA and Horacio Potasio
Get your most audacious costume ready and compete at The Tryst hotel for a fabulous $30,000 MXN grand prize this Friday, October 31, starting at 8:30 PM. The event will be hosted by the talented stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race & All Stars and Drag Race Mexico, AJA and Horacio Potasio. Entry is free but registration is required on the event’s Eventbrite page.
