On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the speakeasy bar with live jazz, The Social Club, located in the Zona Romántica, held the celebration of its first anniversary with a circus-themed soiree.
The event featured appearances by some of its core artists, including the Socialites Jazz Band, as well as circus acts, tarot card readings, and dance numbers that dazzled attendees who packed the venue.
The Social Club first opened its doors on November 20, 2024, by owners Bryan Stocks, Brian Kent, and Roger Allen. Open from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., this is one of the very few bars in town with a license to stay open that late—and it has no cover fee.
“We’re proud and excited to offer something different in Zona Romántica—a venue for authentic live musicians and performers in a special, clandestine setting,” said Brian Kent.
The partners also own the popular venues One Six One (a house music lounge on Rodolfo Gómez street), Brick Oven (a wood-fired pizza restaurant located downstairs from The Social Club), and The Porch (a vibrant and cozy breakfast restaurant located on Amapas).
