The Swedes Bar and Bistro drew more than 60 guests across two dinner seatings on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, as the restaurant hosted a benefit evening for the Vallarta Gay+ Community Center.
The fundraiser continued a tradition that began with a successful event earlier this year, bringing supporters together for a one-night-only, three-course prix fixe dinner. The special menu was priced at $850 pesos per person, with an optional Mexican wine pairing available for $400 pesos. Two seatings — at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. — were offered.
Located at 154 Púlpito in the Zona Romántica, The Swedes committed 20% of all food and beverage sales from the entire day to the Center. That included purchases made by regular diners seated upstairs, adding to the overall support for the organization.
