With just one week to go until the New Year’s festivities, local businesses across Puerto Vallarta are gearing up to host an unforgettable evening. Through a wave of social media announcements, venues have unveiled a selection of events and dinners designed to be the perfect springboard into 2026.
Whether you’re looking for a sophisticated dining experience as a prelude to the iconic fireworks over Playa Los Muertos and the Malecón, or you’re ready to dive into the high-energy late-night parties after the clock strikes midnight, the city offers a diverse array of options to suit every style.
Awaysis Bar Restaurant
Kick off your New Year’s Eve at Awaysis with a special steak dinner and live entertainment from Los Wendigos from 5 to 8 p.m. For reservations, reach out to the restaurant through their Facebook page or call 322 450 2811 to secure your spot.
Banana Factory
Celebrate the New Year at The Banana Factory, located at Lázaro Cárdenas 341, Zona Romántica. There will not be a cover fee and attendees will enjoy music from a DJ, a complimentary Champagne toast at Midnight, and access to dark room, patio and the two bars.
Casa Cúpula
Ring in the new year on December 31 with a full evening of entertainment at the LGBTQ+ resort Casa Cúpula:
- Dinner Show: Music by Eve Jimenez followed by the Cupula Dolls.
- Performances: Aerial acts and fire dancing.
- After-Party: Music, dancing, and gogo boys.
- The View: Watch the fireworks across the Bay of Banderas from our vantage point.

Chachalaca bar
The gay bar located on Francisca Rodríguez street, near Los Muertos Pier, is throwing a New Year’s Eve special show, with a complimentary midnight toast. No cover fee. For more details, check out their Facebook page.
Coco Cabaret
Experience the excitement and sensuality of two Coco Cabaret shows before New Year’s countdown: “Tease by AirOtic” and “Boys on Fire”, with performances on Wednesday, December 31, at 7 and 9 p.m. respectively.

Daiquiri Dick’s on the Beach

Playroom
Come play the last game of the year at Playroom, the ultimate LBGTQ+ gaming bar in town. On December 31, from 7 to 11 p.m., don’t miss their “New Year’s Eve Pre-Game Party”, with drink prices by the clock ($70, $80, $90 and $100), closing at 11 p.m.

The newest LGBTQ+ bar in Zona Romántica is ready to offer you a one-of-a-kind experience for New Year’s Eve: “The Death Drop Ball” starring Wendy Warhol, Aquata DuJour, Wolfen, and Victoria Divine. STUDS Bear & Leather Bar
The countdown is on! STUDS has officially announced its New Year 2026 Extravaganza Festival, running from December 26, 2025, to January 2, 2026. Prepare for a musical journey featuring a lineup of over 10 world-class House and Techno DJs.
Located in Zona Romántica at Basilio Badillo 283, STUDS is the a nice option for those looking to dance their way into the New Year.
The Swedes
The Swedes, which is celebrating 16 years as one of Puerto Vallarta’s favorite restaurants, is offering a special dinner for NYE. Dinner includes a welcome bubbly, a starter course, the Chef’s Amuse Bouche, a Main Course where you can select Beef Wellingto, Duck L’Orange, Salmon Burre Blanc and Dessert. The Palm Cabaret and Bar
Before New Year’s countdown, The Palm proposes two shows for those looking for exceptional live entertainment: “Amy Winehouse Forever” by emerging local star Patriz, and “RAJA” by the winner of the popular television reality competition RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3. The Social Club

The Top Sky Bar
Ring in 2026 at The Top Bar with a 5-course dinner, hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race star, Shangela. Enjoy performances by The Top Queens, and a full view of the bay and fireworks at midnight.

Olas Altas streets will turn into the ultimate celebration as Andale Restaurant & Bar will bring the energy, the music, and the magic of New Year’s Eve straight to the street with a live DJ, dinner specials, cocktails and street celebrations under the fireworks.

Majahuitas NYE Beach Party
