Puerto Vallarta has once again registered a significant growth in the arrival of visitors by air during the month of July, exceeding figures from past years.
In July of this year, Puerto Vallarta saw 140,150 people arrive by air, which represents an increase of 30% compared to 2021 where 108,150 were scene. In comparison with 2019, it shows an increase of 37% from 102,100 air visitors.
July 2022 also marked the highest figure for any month so far this year – which has, in the past been considered “the slow season”. January – 81,100; February – 72,400; March – 95,950; April – 113,900; May – 116,555 and June – 115,450. .
139,200 of these passengers were part of an international arrival, which has also increased from 120,400 last year.
To date, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport has received a total of 735,500 domestic passengers and 1,106,550 international passengers.
