Santa, Palm Trees and Toys: Beach Toy Giveaway Celebrates 25th Year
The annual toy giveaway on the beach celebrated its 25th year on Thursday, December 25, 2025, drawing an estimated 250 to 300 children to the beachfront in front of the Blue Chairs Resort, a longtime supporter and host of the event.

Chronicle of a Sunset Cruise
When Philip Manly, owner of Vallarta Yacht Rentals, invited my colleague Max Buendía and me to experience his sunset cruise aboard his yacht "Escándalo," we couldn't resist. As a true vallartense and beach lover, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to change my perspective on one of my most ingrained habits: watching the sunset.
