Reinas Bar Owner to Pass Crown After 16 Years
After nearly 16 years presiding over one of Puerto Vallarta’s most distinctive nightlife venues, the owner of Reinas Bar, Marcus (Marco) Van Groeningen, says he will step aside and hand over the establishment’s “crown” to a new proprietor this spring.

More than 300 people attended our Gay+ Mixer at the Pool Club at Casa Cupula on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Attendees enjoyed a complimentary gin tonic signature drink on the house, delicious appetizers and live entertainment by goo dancers and drag queens. What a nice crowd and atmosphere.
