The Binder Project will begin on February 25, a social assistance program aimed at transmasculine people of legal age who have not yet begun their transition.

The initiative, promoted by the Movement for Equality in Mexico (MOVii) with the support of the Alas de Águila Foundation, seeks to provide comprehensive support to its beneficiaries for six months, covering medical, psychological and legal aspects of their transition.

The program includes medical consultations with endocrinology specialists, psychological support, advice on changing legal identity and the provision of binders, a compression garment used by transmasculine people. In addition, it will have support groups and personalized follow-up to ensure the well-being of the participants.

The Binder Project will take place in Puerto Vallarta and interested people can still apply to be part of this first generation of beneficiaries. The call is open and those who wish to register can do so through email contacto@moviimexico.org or by WhatsApp at +52 322 131 3707.

This program sets a precedent in the care of the transmasculine community in the region, providing tools and support to those who wish to begin their transition safely and with professional support.
