After a successful, sold-out show on November 9, 2025, “Amy Winehouse Forever” returns to the stage at The Palm Cabaret and Bar for one night only on December 13, 2025, at 9 p.m. Starring vocalist and actress Patriz, this late-night encore promises a wilder, looser, more feverish audience energy—exactly the type of atmosphere where Amy’s fire burned brightest.
“Amy Winehouse Forever” unfolds like a compact musical, a dramatic narrative complete with characters, emotional arcs, and the intricate storytelling that defined Amy herself. Produced and directed by Selena Luna, who has 18 years of experience in Canada’s Film & Television Industry, the show is designed to be deeply authentic.
Patriz steps into the role with uncanny authenticity, not because she imitates Amy, but because their worlds collide in surprising ways. Both emerged at twenty. Both come from Russian-Jewish family backgrounds. Both grew up in families where London was not just a city but a generational anchor. Like Amy, Patriz has an older brother. These parallels, combined with Patriz’s acting-for-film training and musical-theatre discipline, create a portrayal shaped from truth, not mimicry.
“Though Patriz is naturally a soprano and Amy was a mezzo-alto, Patriz has trained intensely to drop into Amy’s smokier register, delivering the hits with both reverence and rawness,” said producer Selena Luna.
She’s backed by an explosive pair of dancing vocalists: Jason Mathis, star of The Soulful Mixer on Thursday nights at La Catrina Cantina, and Depris Price, the powerhouse line-dance instructor also seen at the Mixer. The two are engaged in real life, and their onstage chemistry crackles. They don’t just sing and dance—they embody the chaotic pulse that always seemed to orbit Amy’s world.
Rounding out the cast is Mitchell Rivadeneyra as “Blake”—though not Amy’s ex-husband in any literal sense. Mitchell, formerly known to Vallarta audiences as the drag queen Karma The Bitch (including a run as Cher at Act2), shapes the role into something far more symbolic. His “Blake” becomes a living manifestation of the forces that pursued Amy: distractions, addictions, hyperfocus, obsessions, all the muses she chased and all the storms she couldn’t outrun. Together, this ensemble delivers a striking re-imagining of Amy’s world—intimate, theatrical, darkly funny, and emotionally charged.
