The JW Paws Alliance has announced the first annual Puppy Love Valentine Dog Walk, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Parque Lázaro Cárdenas in the Zona Romántica. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Sula Society, a non-profit rescue and rehabilitation shelter in Puerto Vallarta, dedicated to save, care for, and re home hundreds of neglected animals.
As a no-kill facility, The Sula Society provides medical care, training, and socialization to dogs, offering adoption opportunities in Mexico, the USA, and Canada. The funds from the Valentine Dog Walk will be designated to support the organization’s rescue operations and ongoing adoption awareness initiatives.
The event’s program features a “Cutest Rescue Dog” competition, live musical performances by local artist Yara and thematic photo opportunities for participants and their pets.
At 6:15 p.m., the organized dog walk will depart from the park, proceeding along the Malecón to the dolphin statue before returning for the conclusion of the event. The evening will end at 7:30 p.m. following a raffle featuring prizes donated by local businesses.
While attendance is free to the public, the JW Paws Alliance is soliciting donations through a tiered wristband system to fund animal welfare programs.
| Donation Tier | Contribution | Included Items |
| First Luv | 100 Pesos | Pink wristband and dog treat bag |
| Lotta Luv | 200 Pesos | Red wristband and love bandana |
| All The Love | 400+ Pesos | Gold wristband |
