Hyden Custom Made Furniture welcomed design enthusiasts, clients and community members Thursday to an open house and reception at its Puerto Vallarta workshop, showcasing handcrafted pieces and offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at its design process.
The event, held Jan. 29, 2026, featured complimentary drinks and snacks, a live DJ and guided tours of the studio where Hyden artisans design and build custom furniture. Attendees also had the chance to speak with the craftspeople behind the handcrafted collections.
Located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta at Prol. Colombia 1818, Lázaro Cárdenas, 48330 Puerto Vallarta, Hyden has established itself as a destination for bespoke furniture that blends artisanal craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities. The company’s pieces, which range from solid-wood chairs and tables to custom cabinetry, are celebrated for their attention to detail and high-quality materials.
“We’re thrilled to open our doors and share our passion with the community,” said Sacha Cantor, one of the owners and craftsmen. “This open house is about connection — between design and maker, and between our workshop and the people who appreciate quality craftsmanship.”
Guests at the reception toured the workshop’s creative spaces and watched demonstrations of woodworking techniques.
