Teatro Vallarta hosted a star-studded afternoon on Sunday, January 25, 2026, during the Stars with a Heart: A Charity Celebration event. Organized by Mary Porter, this benefit for the non-profit organization Vallarta School for Girls brought together more than 200 attendees for a night of stellar entertainment.
The gala featured twenty local and international artists performing a wide array of musical genres. The lineup included: Kevin Anthony (who also served as the evening’s host), Sargento Dan, David Sabella, Nicolas King, Patriz, Tromba Ventusa, Stolie, Kimberly La Rue’s Follie, Tromba Ventusa, Stolie, and Kimberly La Rue’s Follie, Alison Lo, Seth Sikes, Bobbie Goddard, Gabe Arciniega, Myra & Martin, Robert Ryan, and Enrique de Allende.
One of the most moving moments that stole the show was when the students of the Vallarta School for Girls took the stage to perform “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” accompanied by Stolie and Sarah Joy.
Francie Nguyen, President of Vallarta School for Girls, thanked the audience for their presence and support. She shared the school’s history and emphasized that the foundation relies solely on benefactor donations, highlighting the critical importance of the event.
“We believe that education is a universal right. We founded the school in January 2023 to provide free, high-quality, bilingual education to girls from underserved communities,” Nguyen stated.
