An Unexpected Musical Journey
Originally from San Miguel de Allende, Enrique De Allende (45) began his musical journey at age 24 after a professional soccer career that he was forced to abandon due to an injury. He received vocal training in California from the prestigious American coach Seth Riggs (who has worked with icons like Prince, Michael Jackson, and Madonna).
Enrique is a staple of the Puerto Vallarta scene, where he debuted at the now-closed Incanto Theatre approximately eight years ago. He also tours frequently in Eastern Europe, performing at venues such as the Prague State Opera.
Throughout his career in Puerto Vallarta, Enrique has supported local organizations like the Puerto Vallarta School for Girls and Friends of SULA. This past December 18, he held a birthday concert hosted by Gouda Gabor, featuring local artists such as Derek Carkner, Kim Kuzma, Diego Guerrero, Roy Cruz, Kevin Anthony, Luis Villanueva, and Mr. Lady Zen. All proceeds were donated to a foundation supporting sports, arts, and education for children.
